Bouygues Telecom organised the final of the 1st edition of #gameoftech
Bouygues Telecom organised the final of the 1st edition of #gameoftech on 12 December in Nice.
This event is part of the company's #openinnovation approach and especially with EDHEC.
This is the 4th edition of the EDHEC challenge, with this year a very special format and scope: a duration of 3 months (mid-September to mid-December), the participation of +100 students, and especially the association of 2 schools #edhec and #epitech,
Bouygues Telecom was particularly involved in this event with the help of a dozen business sponsors and technical experts on 4 themes: Data privacy, 5G Slicing, Selfcare AI, and Cloud Gaming.
Also new this year is the creation of a Jury representative of several Bouygues Group entities: TF1, Bouygues SA and Bouygues Telecom, with :
- Celine CONRARD, Innovation Bouygues SA
- Fabien ROQUES, Innovation Groupe TF1
- Frédéric GERARD, Resp. Accélérateur SmartX 5G
- Sylvain GOUSSOT, Resp. Innovation Bouygues Telecom
Several prizes were awarded to the 13 competing teams:
- Data privacy award: It's private sorry
- 5G slicing price: Slice App'part
- Ai Selfcare Award: Bowee
- Cloud Gaming Award: Cloud Business
- Favorite prize: Magic Box
And the Game Of Tech Grand Prize 2019: It's private sorry
The winning team of this 2019 edition presented an innovation around Data Privacy and #consentements management on the TV interface for targeted advertising.
The team was also able to embed in its prototype an interface with a startup at the forefront on the subject (and exploiting the technology of the #blockchain).
This event demonstrates once again all the interest of Open Innovation which combines #business and #tech, and also all the potential for synergy between the #groupe professions.
